High Cascades Forest Volunteers
Coming from the East: 9 miles west from Sisters on Hwy 20, turn right (north) on FS Road 14. Signs will say To Camp Sherman. At about the 1 mile mark, at a “Y” intersection, continue straight onto Road 1419 for several miles. At the junction where Road 1419 makes an abrupt right turn into Camp Sherman you will continue going straight onto Road 1420. At next intersection turn right (east) at Road 1217. The entrance to Allingham Guard Station is ¾ from the intersection, on the right, just before the bridge over the Metolius River. Registration tables will be set adjacent to the small parking lot.
Coming from the West: on Hwy. 20 the turn off to Camp Sherman will be about 3.5 miles past Suttle Lake. The turnoff will be to the left onto FS Road 14 (Camp Sherman turnoff), then the same directions as above
Coming from the East: Go Southwest on Hwy 126 (from Hwy. 20) until you reach the turnoff for Hwy 242 (Old McKenzie Scenic Hwy). The highway will be marked closed, but is open to the White Branch Road. Take highway 242 for 6 miles. Turn right into the turnaround for over-length vehicles. There will be signs pointing to the White Branch Road. Follow the road until you get to the end. Signs will point to the check-in area.
Coming from Eugene: Go East on Hwy 126 past McKenzie Bridge until you reach Hwy 242 (Old McKenzie scenic hwy.) The highway will be marked closed, but is open to White Branch. Take Highway 242 for 6 miles. Turn right into the turnaround for over-length vehicles. There will be signs pointing to the White Branch Road. Follow the road until you get to the end. Signs will point to the check-in area.

Free tent and RV camping Dormitories and Rooms are available at White Branch. (If you are staying in The Dormitory or Cabins, you will need to furnish your own bedding. There is a mattress pad on the bed. Sign up for Dorm rooms on the registration page.
RV Parking: there is limited RV parking. Sign up for RV parking on the registration page.
Camping: Camp Yale with full hookups is available on Highway 242 after you turn off Highway 126.
Meals: Saturday and Sunday Breakfasts and Lunches provided. Friday and Saturday dinners are provided. You need to bring your own meals for those not provided. It is approximately 12 miles to McKenzie Bridge.
Free tent and RV camping is available on the grounds. This is dry camping there are no RV hook-ups.
There are RV parks and Motel Accommodations in Sisters and Camp Sherman.
